Assurance of Salvation

Are You Truly Saved or Not?

"Examine yourselves whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Or do you not recognize yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are unapproved?" 2 Corinthians 13:5

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!" 2 Corinthians 5:17

"Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!" Matthew 7:21-23

Are you a genuine Christian or not? Do you sometimes lack assurance of your salvation? This is common among Christians and it is very unsettling for those who suffer from this vexing problem. There are various reasons why professing Christians may lack assurance of salvation.

Far worse than lack of assurance is false assurance of salvation. Imagine the shock, horror, and grief of going through life wrongly believing that you have found favor with God only to find out otherwise when you finally meet Him and it's too late to do anything about it. This is going to be the experience of many. Do NOT be one of those people!

But how can we know for sure whether we are truly saved or not? What are the evidences of genuine lively saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ? What are the marks of a true Christian? Answers to these critically important questions with guidance for effective spiritual self examination are available to you right here, right now! Are you ready for testing?

If you pass these tests, you can be at peace with God, free from worry about your eternal destiny. However, if you fail the tests offered below, while this is terrible news, you will know the truth, which is the first step in solving your problem. If this is the case, Ministry of Heaven has plenty of links to abundant resources for wise counsel, whereby you may find favor with God to escape His terrible wrath and lay hold on eternal life with Him in the kingdom of Heaven.
