THE GREAT COMMISSION
"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
Soul winning and empowering souls for Christ with Christian education for evangelism and effective spiritual warfare are both essential components to making disciples as Jesus has commanded in the Great Commission. Doing so is also hastening the day of God as mentioned by the apostle Peter:
"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein righteousness dwells." 2 Peter 3:10-13
Serving the Lord by sharing the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with others for the salvation of their souls from Hell is a privilege, a high calling, and a great service to humanity.
